We have controlled points of entry and badge access throughout our building. Our advanced recall and traceability program is best-in-class and evaluated regularly. Our drivers undergo extensive training, and our trucks are temperature controlled to maintain the cold chain, all the way to your door.
Coastal Sunbelt is compliant with all applicable regulations under the FDA’s Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA). We’ve implemented a structured approach to GMPs and an extensive food safety plan. We also have multiple Preventative Control Qualified Individuals (PCQI) on staff in our facility. All of our growers/vendors are required to undergo an annual Good Agriculture Practice (GAP) audit (or other qualified 3rd party audit).
This rigorous food safety management system is recognized by the
Global Food Safety Initiative; it is the only of its kind to
integrate a quality component in addition to its food safety
base.
